If you had a time machine, how would you go back and change your company?

As the years go by we may find ourselves wondering what could have been if we had made the alterations that we were contemplating back then.

It's never too late to make meaningful enhancements today! What would you do?

1. Have representation from all of your departments on your hiring processes, so you have the right fit for the culture of your operation.

2. Create better communication between all of your departments and workers so the overall experience is more conducive to change.

3. Make a clear path for advancement based on performance results so people know where they can land.

4. Establish flexibility for your workers so they know that you respect their personal lives.

5. Allow your people to fail on occasion so they know they can trust you without reprimand. Train employees to make independent decisions.

6. Develop a simple system that shares some of the profits with your staff.

7. Root out toxic employees that damage the culture. No bad eggs.

8. Hire managers to lead versus monitoring behavior.

9. Anchor the core values of the company, so every worker understands what the capabilities of the organization are for new business.
